temporarily disabling snap & glue

I use visio to create electrical network schematics. When I copy a schematic
and paste it onto another page, it typically is no longer aligned with the
grid. Since I have snap and glue enabled, the diagram will only move in 1/2
grid steps and I can't realign it to the grid without turning off the snap
feature.

Is there any shortcut to temporarily disable the snap feature while moving
an item?

Hi Matt,

Open the Snap & Glue toolbar. You can then just toggle off the snap feature
using an icon when you wish to move something.

Alternatively use the alignment tool on the action toolbar to align all the
shapes in a row.
Alternatively again! Put a ruler guide on the page (these don't print) and
attach your shapes to it. they will glue but not move out of alignment.
