temporary internet files or pictures?

when i open up a picture in microsoft office picture manager there are
pictures and fragments of pictures that come up as well - i don't know how
they got there?

Please repost your question in a group supporting Picture Manager. This group
is for a different program, Microsoft Access. The webpage can be confusing and
has misled you - scroll down the list of subject areas and find one for
picture manager.
