Terminal Server with 2007

In order to avoid the problems with WAN latency and certain security issues
with Server 2002 and 2004, remote access via a terminal server was the way to
go. Is 2007 any different, or is a terminal server like Cytrix still the way
to go?

2007 can tolerate much higher WAN latency than 2003 or earlier editions.
This is larger due to the adoption of communicating over HTTP/S and the
introduction of client side cache.

Initial open/save of a project plan is marginally faster in 2007 than
earlier versions, however subsequent open/save ops are significantly faster
as the client only only communicates the differences in the files.

2007 also supports reverse proxy, something that not capable in 2003 which
drove customers to using TS or citrix

That's not to say that Citrix or TS doesn't have they place, but it's
becoming less of a requirement.

Reverse Proxy is the ability to publish content (ie PWA) out to the internet
through a proxy server.
