Test Drive won't Remove

I've purchased a new eMac running Panther 10.3.2 and a copy of Office:mac (student & teacher edition) and I'm instructed to remove the test drive version of Office before loading. I double click the remove icon and get the message "PBCatSearchSync() -1304" follwed by the message "The Office X Test Drive was not found on your computer." However the Office icons all remain and open when prompted with the indication of how many days are left for the test drive. Any thoughts on what I need to do to remove the test drive? Thanks for any help.

This is a /Windows/ Office group, love. Had you looked around for 5 seconds
you'd have known that. Please repost in microsoft.public.office.mac.

Have you tried dragging the Office folder to the trash?
