According to Microsoft's 2007 Preview site:
"Coming in June 2006, the test drive is the fastest way to try out the next
release of Microsoft Office products and doesn't require product installation
or download. In just minutes you'll be able to start exploring Microsoft
Office through your Web browser on your own, or follow the step-by-step
tutorials to experience all of its useful features. With the test drive,
you'll be able to try out the latest improvements to familiar Microsoft
Office applications and use sample data that you can edit, send by e-mail,
and post to Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies sites in real
time. "
Question: Today is June 16, does anyone know when this Test Drive format
will go live? Given that, like many others in this group, I do NOT want to
jeopardize my Office XP funtionality, but would like to try a hands-on
version of the new Office before committing in a few months to either staying
with XP or upgrading to new Office, this would be an ideal solution. So
again, my question is when will the Test Drive feature go live?
Thanks in advance to anyone who knows the answers.
