Test for SQL Server

I'm using an accdb for mobility and when I get back to the office I
want to push a button that appends my data with a SQL Server. No
problem. Is there a function to test if I'm on the network? Relying
on the Connection.Open takes time and freeezes everything up until the
code errors.

I just don't like all the bullshit involved with linked tables

it's just so much easier if you keep everything in SQL Server and just
use Access Data Projects

Well, Aaron, Thanks for the totally useless reply. If you'd have read
the original post you'd have seen that there are no Linked Tables.

Like Mom always used to say..."If you don't have anything nice to say,
don't say anything at all". Personally, I've always liked the saying
"It's better to let people think your an idiot than to open your mouth
(in this case your keyboard) and proove it".

dude Access Data Projects work terrific with SQL Server

lose the training wheels, kid
