Ok this might be a tuff one. I have a large query for a machine shop time
study database. During the entry portion there are 3 data types for the
field [bore size]. there can be a fraction, a decimal, or a number as
milimeters. I have a seperate field to specify if the number inputed is
milimeters or std.
On my subform for the query, I have a textbox that converts the [bore size]
to the equivalent decimal regardless of the inputed format. I want to then
run a query within the results for specific ranges of that equivalent
number(because they are now a number format). I can't figure out if it
should be a dlookup on my report, or a query....or what....I am out of ideas
Thanks!
