Text and graphics are not seen in the "Normal" view ?

I have front page 2002. So far I was doing good in terms of publishing the
web pages. Suddenly something happend and I might have changed the settings.
I can see everyting in the browser view or after publishing. When I tried
to edit any page using FP2002 it shows empty.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Close FP, search for an delete all *.web files (these are hidden system), the FP Temp folder under
your Windows Temp folder, then shut down you PC, then wait a few minute and then re-start it.

I tried to find the *.web files. However, there are no such files in any
directory. they are not in the hidden files also.

You need to search for _hidden system files (known types)
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
