Text animaiton waits for music track to end. Why?

Hi,
I have added some music to a slide, and would like it to run for x
number of slides. I have also added a series of animated text to the
same starting slide and would like this animation to automatically
execute itself whilst the music plays. However, as soon as I add an
'After Previous' instruction to a text item the sequence stops because
the music track has not finished playing! I would really appreciate it
if someone could tell me how I can apply the music without other
animations being dependant on it.

I am running PP XP.

Try using "With Previous"?
