Text box on header not printing?

I was thrilled that Word let me add a text box over an image in the header. However, when I save to PDF or print, the text here is not visible. This text must be editable (not part of .png header). Very much appreciate help.

I discovered the solution: had to go to Word> Preferences - Print and check the boxes for Drawing Objects.
