Text/Box Resizing in Organization Charts

K

Kevin

I am trying to increase the font size in an Organization Chart box (the top most box in the chart) using PowerPoint 2003. In previous versions I was able to increase the font size of the text inside the box, click away, and the box would resize accordingly. I cannot figure out how to do this in 2003. I turned autoformat off and a host of other things with no success.

I see the "Fit Text" option, but this does the opposite of what I am trying to accomplish (it makes my text smaller).

Anyone have a trick for this?

Thanks.

The answer is a combination of the things you have tried.

1) Enter the text and size as desired.
2) Turn Off autoformat
3) Select the text box
4) Manually resize the box to desired size
5) Turn autoformat back on
