text Box??

A

Akira

Well I got a question

A User has a request

She has a text Box which has a Description heading in
it After the Heading you enter a Name
example
Name: fHSHHF

What happens in her text box is the following
Name: 122313445
6489790123456789
She does not want it to wrap
Name:1234567901234567890

Is there an option that will do this?

You need to double click the text box and go to the Text
Box tab. There is an option to Word wrap text in
Autoshape. Untick this.

Hope this helps

Might this be a text formfield rather than a text box? Can she put a space
between the letters "a" and "m" in Name? If not you are dealing with a
document protected for forms. This is what Word calls an "online form."
Check this in help. For more about online forms, follow the links at <URL:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/FillinTheBlanks.htm> especially Dian
Chapman's series of articles. Those do show how to control wrapping and
other issues that come up in such forms.

Hope this helps,

See the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!
