Text cut off at the bottom of the page in a table

Hello, all;

I have a document which consists of rows of text organized
through tables. On the screen, it looks fine. When I
print it, on some pages, the bottom row of text is cut in
half vertically.

I have headers and footers in this document, and they are
printing normally. I have adjusted the margins to make
sure the footer top margin is not overlapping the text
bottom margin, so that is not the problem. I have not set
the row heights to any specific height. So those possible
causes have been eliminated.

I am loathe to force a break in the middle of my row of
text, because as I edit this document, the breaks will
move. Maintainance will be a mess.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you!
Rhonda

Thank you for the reference, but I am using an HP laser
printer, and the footers are printing normally. This is
occurring in the table, above the footer.

Additional information: If I use Acrobat to convert
the .doc to a .pdf, the text cut-off at the bottom of the
page is also visible on the screen in the .pdf. Again,
the footer upper margin is set well below the text bottom
margin, so they are not overlapping.

Thanks again,

Rhonda

This shouldn't happen, but...

Some things that I would check:

Look at all the fonts on the page, both the table and the footer, and
make sure that there is no font substitution happening. Are you using
TT or PS fonts?

Set your measurement units to points and see whether your margins are
correct when looked at that way.

Look at the table properties and make sure that it is inline not
wrapped.

Check the footer for renegade text boxes or frames.

If you are using an HP laser printer, have you tried the beta drivers?

I recall seeing a couple other recent postings about the last line of
a table being cut off, but I don't recall seeing a cure...
