Text deleted from my MS Word File

Hi,

Any suggestions on recovering my information would be much
appreciated.

Yesterday, I entered into an existing document, 15 pages
of new text. It took me approximately 10-hours to add this
information, and I saved frequently throughout the day. I
worked until roughly 11:30 pm last night, then shut off my
computer and went to bed. This morning when I booted my
machine and opened the file, all the text I added since
9:39 am yesterday morning was gone.

Things I've checked
===================
1. I openend the correct file
2. I searched through my machine for temp word files that
might contain the text
3. I ran virus checker and found no viruses (most-recent
patch file of McAfee)
4. I did a global search on files that had been modified
since early yesterday

Wierd Situation Yesterday Morning
=================================
When I was working on the document early yesterday
morning, a pop-up appeard and asked me whether I wanted to
revert to a previously saved version. I answered "No". I
then worked the rest of the day on the doc (saving
frequently). Could it be that by answering "No" to this
question the text I added remained in memory and was never
actually written to the file? At one point during the day
I closed MS Word, reopened it, and reaccessed my file and
all the text that I added was there. However when I shut
down my machine and restarted it this morning, everything
was gone.

Thanks for your help,

Linc
