Text Fields

I am creating a basic Word Document, i have inserted drop down fields and
text fields with no problem.

what i would like to work out how to do is; with the Text fields when the
document is locked and you tab into the field i want the title of the field
ie. "Name" to disappear when you being to type. at the moment it types along
side the word "name".

What version of Word are you using? Are you using Word Form Fields? If using
Word 2007, are you using Content Controls? if the latter then in order to
change the prompt text in Content Controls you need to use Design Mode,
available on the Developer tab in the Controls group.
