Text Form Field in Word

Hi - I'm creating a template using Word 2003. I'm using the FORMS toolbar to
create some Text Form Fields. Question - how can I make the contents entered
in one Text Form Field by a user automatically display as the contents in
another Text Form field? Probably requires some VBA and have played with
that option but can't get any of the codes I've tried to work.

Am open to using the TextBox control on of the Control Toolbox toolbar if
the VBA is easier to construct for that control.

Any suggestions?

If you don't need to update the data in the other form field then this
is as easy as adding in a cross-reference to the form field.

- View the Properties for the first form field
- Change the Bookmark name to one that is more meaningful
- Turn on "Calculate on exit" (this will update the cross-reference
after the field is modified)
- Delete the second form field

For the duplicate data:
- Go to Insert/Reference Cross-reference
- Change the Reference type to Bookmarks
- Select the Bookmark for the first form field and click Insert

If you need to edit the duplicate data then you will need to create a
simple macro and attach it to the OnExit event of the first form
field. If that's what you need then post back and we'll assist from
there. Although if you do need this information you'll probably
receive a faster response if you post to one of the Word VBA
newsgroups instead of posting here.
