Text Formatting

Is it possible to add specific text formatting to portions of the text that
is entered into either a text or memo field. I have the need to highlight,
bold, strikethrough or italicize some words or phrases that I enter.

I've been to the MS knowledge base but cannot find any articles or
references related to this.

No. Not in a standard Access text box.

If it is really important to you, Stephen Lebans has a rich text control
that does permit formatting of text within a control. See:
