Text Formula help

If Text 1 is empty, I want Text 3 to become equal to Text 2. My formula
below is not working - can someone check it for me thanks.

IIf([Text1] = "",[Text2],[Text1])

This formula works fine for me (on French version):
IIf([Texte1]="";[Texte2];[Texte1])
What is your problem ?

Works for me in project 2000.
You didn't put an = sign before it did you?
Many excel users put one in by habit

Me too, this works fine.

A couple of points, Steve. I presume the formula is in Text 3 column?
Secondly, you are in the same view where the Text 1, 2 & 3 reside (ie you're
not changing views and looking at the Text 3 column in the Resource usage
view?)
