Text from Dreamweaver not pasting correctly

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I pasting text from Dreamweaver as their spell check does not work too well. but it's not landing in the page. what is this? thanks:

You might want to have a look at this article:

I realize that you're on Word 2004, though - the article discusses
Word 2008 and Dreamweaver CS3. (You didn't say what version of
Dreamweaver you're running.)
There have definitely been some clipboard and text copy/paste-related
issues between the two programs in recent times.

Are you copying from the source view pane in Dreamweaver,
or the design view pane? It makes a difference.
Try copying from the source view pane in Dreamweaver
(avoiding the tags and just selecting the text to copy)
and pasting into Word. This should work better.
