Text in 50% of Text Boxes not printing why?

My problem is about 50% of my diagrams are printing boxes without any text.
The print preview is displaying both boxes and text.
What do i have to do to the text boxes to make them print correctly?

Im using word 2000

Sometimes turning off background printing (Tools | Options | Print) will
take care of this. If it doesn't, try disabling print spooling in the
printer driver (print directly to the printer).
