Text in a rectangle

Is it possible to put text inside a shape?
I've created rectangles, now I'd like to put text in them, is this possible?
I managed to create 'text boxes' but they always fall outside the shapes.

Also how do I get my drawing inside the cell of a table? I have created the
table and the drawing now I need to put the drawing inside a cell in the
table.

Right-click on the shape, and left-click on Add Text.
