Text in between arrow

Can anyone tell me how I can put text in the middle of an arrow like;
example;

-------Hello/Thanks---->

Can anyone tell me how I can put text in the middle of an arrow like;
example;

-------Hello/Thanks---->

Try double-clicking on the arrow shape to open up its native text
block. Then just type in your text. Works for any shape and even for
groups.

Now what I would like to know is how to force that text to one end or
the other, rather than in the middle.

The Text tool (the later A) has a drop down to the right of it. The drop
down will allow you access to the Text Block tool and with that, you can
move the location of the Text.
