Text in text box changes when closing

When I close my PPT file, all text in text boxes move so that they start in
the middle instead of in the left side (and it is not align left and/or
center which is not correct ...).
It is as if a certain amount of space is added to the left margin, but
checking internal margin in "format text box" reveals nothing wrong. There
must be another flag incorrectly set.

Can anybody help with this ?

Which version of PPT?

What are the internal margin settings? Also, what's the text anchor point
setting?

Do you have multiple masters in the file?
