text is cut off when pasted to powerpoint

I've just talked the company into giving me visio and I'm so excited, but
I'm having to learn some of the little new nuances that have changed over
the last 6 years.

I have a number of text boxes in my visio chart. I've removed all text
margins for all the shapes, but the text is still cut off (on the right)
when - inserted into, then resized and printed from powerpoint. The print
preview is fine, but it's not printing correctly. There's no colour in the
boxes (just a bit of a shadow, applied to the shape). There is plenty of
room in the box for text.

What am I missing. Thanks for suggestions?
PS... for now, my workaround is to paste as a bitmap.

I'm not sure how much clipping you are seeing. If you are seeing just 1
pixel of clipping, that is probably a graphics engine bug. I think this
problem has been fixed, so you would need to make sure you have the latest
updates for Windows and Visio.
