Text is too long to fit in cell

I am using Excel 2002. The cell contains a large amount
of text and shows up as I type it in the formula bar and
in the worksheet, but when I move to another cell it cuts
off the end of what I wrote. I have text wrap on and it
shows about 10 lines worth of text but I can't seem to do
anything to make it show the rest. If I make the column 5
pages wide it shows more but still not the whole thing and
has plenty of blank space at the bottom of the cell where
the text should show up. Any suggestions????? Thanks.

Change the row height manually?

Specs for Excel states that 32,767 characters can be placed in a cell.

1024 will be visible or can be printed.

Using ALT + ENTER to get hard returns will increase this limit.

Hi
the maximum are 1024 characters to display in a cell (see the Excel
help under 'Specification'). You can extend this by manually entering
linebreaks with ALT+ENTER
