Text jagged after animated

Hi everyone. I use PowerPoint 2003 with Windows XP. Fonts appear OK when
working without animation but as soon as I animate an aspect of a slide text
becomes jagged. Is there a way to fix this problem? Many thanks...! RNM /

Click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Under Performance, put a checkmark on "Use hardware graphics acceleration".
See if the text is still jagged this time round.

Hi there Tohlz, thanks for your answer and I apologize but I cannot find the
"Performance" link or menu or the "Use hardware..." etc. you mention. Could
you please tell me where I may find it? Thanks, RNM.

On the menu bar,
Click Slide Show.
Look for Set Up Show. If it doesn't appear, click on the arrow facing
downwards which will show the full menu. Click Set Up Show.
The Set Up Show dialog box will appear.
Right at the bottom, you will see "Use hardware graphics acceleration". Put
a checkmark on it and click ok.

How much Panama Gasoline prices? per liter or gallon? --Rino

Hi there Rino. Thanks but the option you mention was already check marked.
Gasoline in Panama is approaching $4 a gallon. Thinking of quiting driving
altogether and ... either switch to taxi/bus transportation or buying a
horse. RNM.

A get-out is to have an identical - but un-animated - slide following
automatically after 0 seconds so that the jagged edges immediately
disappear.

Hi

Hope this helps anyone with this problem of having jagged text in powerpoint

I was having the same problem with my powerpoint presentations too, the text
was looking jagged when any animation was put on it.
After alot of trial and error I figured out what the problem is. If you take
the bullets out of your text, then you can add any animation to your text and
it doesn't look jagged anymore. As soon as you add the bullets back you get
jagged text. So bottom line the bullet points is what's causing the problem

Thanks,
Jason B.
