I think it would be a useful feature to have Outlook automatically send a
text message to your phone when mail from all or designated e-mail enters a
specific inbox. It would have practical applications for those expecting
important e-mails without having to frequently check for new mail. It could
be an integral feature with various options such as text notifications for
messages sent with high importance, messages from specific extensions,
messages from specific people, messages from a favorites list... the options
are endless. For those without PDA phones, mobile web subscriptions, or the
like, this would be an extremely useful feature. For the relatively high
cost of the Office Suite it should be a free feature. The recieved message
could read something like, "New mail has been delivered to your x inbox from
your requested party (or from x e-mail address)."
