Text on connectors

When you have a connection line that goes from top to
bottom on the screen, how can you change it so that the
text appears left to right, and not top to bottom as
well? There must be a seeting that I am missing. Anyone
know how to change this? Thanks-

While having your connector selected, click the "rotate
text" button. It should be on your toolbar. It's a
Capital A with a bend arrow above it.
When it's not on your Toolbar yet, left click the toolbar
Customize, and then drag it from the "Shape Operations"

Catagory onto the toolbar.
