Hi,
I am trying to create a Business Card using a JPEG as the background with a simple line of text at the bottom. I've tried using a text box, but it cuts out a hole the size of the box. How can I type text over the JPEG image?

Format È Picture ÈÊLayout
Choose behind text.

Some of the advanced options in the same dialog might help you place
the picture and text where you want them in relation to one another.

You might try the above in combination with text boxes.

I find it a bit slippery. I'd use Illy, Photoshop or something else to
do the job properly.

What happens if you format the text box as No Line & No Fill?
