text selection bug?

Sometimes, when I copy paste from a web site I cannot make a selection of
the lines of the text I pasted using the keyboard keys "left alt+left
shift+up or down arrows". However I can select it using the mouse, but not
using the keyboard.

Is this a bug?

What browser are you pasting from? Onenote is more compatible with
internet explorer than with other browsers.

Does this happen only with text pasted from a website through Chrome?
How about text pasted from IE?

I doubt that the source might make a difference.
Couldn't it be a problem with marking text in general?

I do not work with the Beta yet, still the TP installed. There I almost
always stumble over a problem with marking text with the mouse. When I
begin marking at the beginning of text I can hardly ever stop the
marking at the end. Although having released the mouse button at the
proper place, the selections stops far earlier.
Meanwhile I have got used to start marking at the *end* dragging the
cursor to the left and upward. This work ;-)

Chrome has some glitches when it comes to exporting. However, you
COULD use an intermediary:

1) Uninstall Chrome
2) Install the Chrome BETA version
3) Search Google for Chrome Extensions
4) Find the one for Evernote
5) Install the extension for Evernote
6) Then install the Evernote program (www.evernote.com) and set up an
account there.

Once you've done that, you can clip to Evernote, then later on you can
migrate that data over to OneNote.
