Hi,

Not really, but you can rotate a text box. Depending on version, you can
select it and rotate the little green Free Rotate thingy, or go to Format
text Box, Size, and you may be able to type the rotation number in.

WordArt works well for this. It's the tilted "A" on the Draw toolbar. Create
your text and then give it any shape and angle, plus you can rotate it. Works
in all versions of PowerPoint.

Ah. But if you look at the earth from space, there is NO right way up. It
was just that the first maps were drawn by northern hemispheric map makers
<vbg>.
