Word X is not Unicode and many international characters were not supported
in MacWord until Word 2004. If you search the web or use Google to search
Groups (this newsgroup) you might find suggestions for better programs to
use, or workarounds involving Word, if they exist. There are definitely
resource pages for using Chinese on a Mac, so I wouldn't be surprised if
Thai resource pages were out there.
