Tired of Setbacks

I want to thank everyone who helped me get my site up. I have never been in
a discussion group and I am glad that I decided to use this site for help. I
don't know what I would have done without you! Also, there are 3 words that
will stick in my mind, I guess, until I die and they are, "don't use http".

That's okay. Guys are smarter than gals, right? So, you must have assumed I

But a lot of us are using real newsreaders, where posts are permanent.

A *real* news reader? All my posts are permanent and I didn't have any
trouble seeing it. And if it's permanent then why didn't anyone see the
post instead of adding all the corrections to the first post?

Very true. But none of us responding to the thread are using the web
interface except the original poster

Hey Dave,

Maybe some people are seeing your MVP logo and associating that somehow with
the Web Interface.. thinking you are posting through there. (Just a guess)
Actually though for those of you that don't know....when you see the MVP
logo it is usually from a posting through Windows mail (With Vista and
sometimes through Microsoft Communities Newsgroups)

Or for the shorter version..many of the posts *are* from Newsreaders and
Newsgroups! :)
