I have started a new job and I am making some excellent progress creating
efficiency gains from building an access database (I am still a newbie). This
would not have been at all possible without the kind people trawling through
to help us all out. So a big T*H*A*N*K*S!!

Good job Ben. Do you use MS Access in your job? If so, did you have
any previous training for it or did you teach yourself everything you
know? Do you use programming in VBA or SQL, or neither and you don't
find programming a necessity of your job?

Well, I never miss a chance to join in on thanking the kind, helpful folks of
these newsgroups for all their help. I, too, owe a lot to them! I've never
met such a helpful, selfless group of great people spending their own time
helping out the newbies among us, and even the somewhat veterans who run into
trouble they don't know how to solve. Bravo! I'm glad I've finally been able
to begin pitching in around here by actually answering questions! It is
important to me to give if I'm going to receive. :)

I had never used access before I got into my job, but as I arrived there was
talk about creating a database and I though I would give it a go. That was 4
months ago now. I have learnt absolutely everything from all you folk and I
have been proud of what Ive done- with thanks to all you. Just been studying
SQL and exploring the possibilities with that, and I now have a VBA book on
my desk. Cheers.
