I am trying to load Microsoft Project 2007 on my PC and I keep getting the
following error:-

"Setup is unable to proceed due to the following error(s):
The 2007 Microsoft Office system does not support upgrading from a
prerelease version of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. You must first
uninstall any prerelease versions of the 2007 Microsoft Office system
products and associated technologies.
Correct the issue(s) listed above and re-run setup.

I am running Microsoft Office 2007 version 12.0.4518.1014. There was a trial
version maybe on my computer. I have read a few blogs about this error and I
am still not sure what to do.

Try uninstalling the Activation Assistant, (Its a remnant of a Trial) then
rebooting
