I'm new to MS Office and was thinking about keeping track of my different
website login names and passwords, any ideas on the best way to do this with
Office Enterprise 2007? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I have been doing mine on Excel for years, but I print out the copy and it
is under glass on my desk at home. It would be a PITA to have to run excel
every time you want to know your SI/PW.

Agreed. Wouldn't want to really keep it on the computer for security
reasons.

That's why my list says things like "8 w/ cap" or "8 w/spec char". *I* know
what that means.

Very seldom do *I* need to refer to the "sheet" except where sites require
you to use a long non changeable sign in, otherwise it is "characterized" (I
hope) so that most of the times I understand it. :)

My problem is that I deal with several apps at work that require a password.
Some require special characters, some bar them, some want 8 digits, some at
least 5, some change every 90 days, some don't. ARGH!!! I've had to create a
cheat sheet to remember what's what. On our system you are locked at on
three attempts and I really hate calling IT for a password reset.

In that case you should have a password with digits at the end like:

mypassword01
mypassword02
mypassword03

You get the idea but always adapt the above trick

In short have one password with digits attached to it so that you know
what for sure what your password is likely to be. The numbers could be
months of the year in which the password was set.

But like I said, some require special characters and some do not allow them.
I try to maintain the same or similar passwords for the apps and that's what
I use for my cheat sheet. Ntwk w/spec char, ntwk w/o spec char, ......
