The Calendar can't find the contacts

sam

I have outlook 2000 sr-1. I moved the PST file from my 98
computer to XP (outlook 2000 sr-1)
When I click on an Appointment in the calendar and then
try to click on the name of that person next to
the "Contacts" button (to get to the contact information)
the message "can't locate contact" appears.
Please advise.

Right click on your contacts folder and then select the Outlook Address Book
tab. Make sure that "show this folder as an email address book" is checked
off.

I think you need to add a service called Outlook Address Book to be able to
use your contacts folder as an address book. (Tools>Services by the way...
;-).)
The box will then not be greyed out and you can select it to be shown as an
outlook address book, hence the service.

Hope this helps.
