The calendar folder could not be found

I'm getting odd results when users delegate read access to their calendars.
We get the auto notification that we have been given access but when we try
to open the other users calendar we get the Calendar Folder Could Not be
Found message.

When the users go back to look at delegation it is reset to no access.
There does not seem to be any rhyme of reason asto who the delegation sticks
and who it does not?

using Windows, Outlook, Exchange - all - 2000
