The document contains macros

The above message has been popping up for a couple of day now, whenever I
open Word (version 11.5604.5606 on XP), even when it opens with a blank new
document.
What is wrong?

Try Options --> Security --> and click Macro Security. Be careful, though.
If you've opened up any documents from an untrustworthy source, it could have
contained a macro virus.

Well just opening the dialog doesn't change anything. I tried all 4 security
levels, without any apparent effect.
