The Find or Replace will not work on a date.

The Find and Replace works with everything else on the spreadsheet, just not
the two columns with dates.
I tried setting no format, I tried matching the format.

What do the dates look like?

And what are you typing in the Find/replace dialog?

The dates are in this format: 30-Sep-05. I am typing the identical format in
the dialog box.

Select that cell.
Look at the formula bar.
Try typing what you see there into the find/replace dialog.
