The First Of Many Questions

okay i am doing this very big project and i am going to need alot of
help, i guess you will see me on this board alot over the next week or
so. so, here my first question


this is what i want to do


ok i have a sent letter date field on a subform on my main form. what i

want to do is say in 30 days from that date (we can call sendemaildate)

it remind me to send the company it refers to an email. Then 14 days
from that (telephoned date)it reminds me to call them. so i want to
write something that will give me 30 days from sent letter date, and
then 14 days after that generated date. So after the dates get
generated and shown on my form, I want a report that says, things to do

today, and they click on the button and todays date shows with a list
of things they are supposed to do (ie email this company or telephone
today)


guys i really need help with this. there is alot of things that i want
and need to do with this that i dont have the slightest clue how to do.

i guess i could probably send the database out through gmail if anyone
would like to take a look at it. I modified a service call management
database templatae that i found on office online. Please i really need
some help.

Take a look at queries.

By the way, your data is not "in" the forms, they just show it. Your data
is in the underlying tables. You'll want to look at how to use queries to
list data in tables, and to massage/calculate.

For example, to get a date one month after a date you have, you can use the
DateAdd() function.

okay jeff so far so good. Now i want to create a report that will only
show things that need to happen on the date the report is generated.
