The font size in Out look is too small, how do I fix it?

The font size has become very small in the message area of Out Look. Somehow
I caused this problem. I can't get it to stay at the prefered 12point size.

I have exactly this same issue. Using Beta 2 with tech refresh outlook 2007
and after a dream experience, suddenly the font size when I create mail in
the content area becomes so small even though the font size shows
otherwise.... This seems to be a bug, anyone know a fix?
