The form name 'Switchboard' is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist.

I'm getting this problem with a secure Access 97 database. It happen
when I first open the database.

I've loaded previous versions of this (before some upgrades to som
reports that we made) and the problem doesn't exist. If I import som
tables or something and close out, when I go back in I get this error.
I cannot find a way to fix it.

It won't let me delete the switchboard form. It says: "the sav
operation failed". Its like the switchboard is getting stuck open o
something and it won't let me delete it.

Can anyone help?? We have a UL audit in 2 days and all of ou
information is in this system!

-Thanks

I assume that your database is opening the switchboard form as the "startup"
form? is the form corrupted in some way? has its name been changed in any
way? You don't tell us much, so there's not much we can specifically tell
you.

Try opening the database while holding down the Shift key to see if the
database will let you open the file and be at the database window.

Yes, I am using the switchboard as the startup form. I think the for
is corrupted in some way. There is no way for me to open it, delet
it, rename it, or copy it. The name has not been changed in any way.

I will try your suggestion and open it with the shift-key held down.
Do you have any other ideas that I could try?!?

You can go to a backup copy of the file that you made prior to the problem
occurring.. You also could try importing all the objects from the database
into a new database.
