the images do not show up on my web pages

when i have designed and finished my web site using publisher 98, when i have
uploaded them to my site all the imagesor just plain white square boxes withe
a re x in the top left hand corner of each box. what could be the problem and
how do i rectify the problem.

Have you made sure that your pictures are uploaded? This seems to be a
common issue.
