"The Installation of this package failed"

I have downloaded the Office Beta twice. Each time I try to install, I get
this message: "The Installation of this package failed"

what can I do?

Same thing with me. I hope someone from Microsoft is watching this and comes
up with an answer.

I've gotten this several times, but I've also succeeded with going past this
part of the installation (however, my installation broke down at a later
point).

I ended up downloading it 3 times. I'm not sure what finally got it to work,
but here are some ideas:
Perhaps do it at a time when you're not using the computer and nothing else
is open.
Reboot and try again. This worked once for me.
Don't move the file from the location you download it to.
