I can't save anything to outlook... can't update contacts, add calendar
appointments... can't even import/export. I've tried repairing outlook,
removing and reinstalling.... it keeps giving me the same errors....

This is the error msg:

The item could not be saved tho this folder. The folder has been deleted
or moved, or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in
the default folder for the item.
yes/no

Many of the buttons on outlook don't seem to work either....

When i click tools/options/mail setup/ then the button Data Files... I have
no response even after extended periods of time.

I'm using XP pro on a computer with 1gb ram, ati 6800 video card, 1.8mhz
computer & outlook used to work fine.

can you help me :(



when clicking yes it states

"Could not save item. The messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook"
