The language of this installation package is not supported by this

I'm trying to install Office Enterprise '07 - we are on an SLA with Microsoft
for Education. It is an authentic MS installation DVD. When I insert the CD
it gives me the message that "The language of this installation package is
not supported by this system."

I browsed several MS blogs and found a suggestion to

Create a new text file and enter: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.0
"1033"=" Save this file as FixLang.reg, then double click on it and click OK
to accept adding it to the registry.

Suggestion was made by David Sterling, MS Gold Partner SharePoint
Specialist, but it didn't resolve my issue. Can anyone help me?
