when i do check name or when i log in to the new profile that i just created
this error message keeps on popping out: "The logon credentials supplied were
incorrect. Make sure your username and domain are correct, then type your
password again."

the username and password i provided was correct and my caps is off and on
the server (exchange 2000) i made sure that the password cannot expire.

please let me know what you think might be wrong with it. by the way i use
outlook 2000 on a windows 2000 OS.

thanks.

No and when I add the person's profile on other computer it works just fine.
I'm thinking that it probably has something to do with my machine?

Thanks for the reply by the way.

The reason I ask is because I've only seen something like this once a long
time ago; it involved the fact that Outlook 2000 had the ability to change
Domain passwords under NT4, a function it doesn't do correctly on Windows
2000 and later, where the Domain password is set from the Ctl/Alt/Del menu.
Using this feature in Outlook 2000 on Win2k caused the local, cached Outlook
2000 password to become out of sync with the Domain password. I think the
fix for this was to make sure both are the same (change both to the same in
both places), but its been so long ago I'm not sure of the exact steps. I
don't know if this is what you're seeing or not.
