outcmd.dat (hidden file) to outcmd.old

I tried your suggestion but it didn't work.

I think it's Outlook 2002. (Since I don't have a menu bar, I can't access
"Help>About."

Roady [MVP]

Renaming outcmd.dat to outcmd.old should work unless you've got an add-in or
something that immidiately breaks the Menu Bar again. Rename it again and
start Outlook in safe mode to see if the Menu Bar loads succesfully now.

To start Outlook in safe mode;
Start-> Run; "path to outlook.exe" /safe

outcmd.dat can be found here;
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
