The Microsoft Office 2003 60 day trial

I hae just down loaded my 60 day free trial of Microsoft Office from the
Microsoft website. I have gone in to Word and see a new blank document I want
to type onto. But I cannot because it is locked. The Save, Save As, Font Size
and type of font buttons are dimmed out and I cannot use them. I do not know
what to do. This is my first time and I am stuck.

You should have received an email from Microsoft that contains
the free trial product key. You are supposed to use the product
key to activate your software before you can use it. See
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/activate.mspx .

You have to activate Office 2003 first.
